Langa is home to a large number of creative people. Notable residents include the “Black Madonna”, the late Brenda Fassie, as well as playwright and theatre director Fatima Dike.  Although Langa has its own theatre at Guga s’Thebe, it is still hard for many Langa creatives to develop an audience that can sustain them in their creative goals. Our aim is not only to build on this hotspot at Guga s’Thebe, but also to enable the performers seen here to add videos at other hotspots across the W. Cape, and so develop the audiences of which they are worthy.
