Nicky Newman is a well respected figure in Cape Town film and photography. Her eye for drama, coupled with her own stillness and her subtlety of touch, made her the perfect person to approach with the idea of a hotspot route in Sea Point. Sun-kissed Salsa was in fact one of the inspirations for Scene It as a whole, and when local activity providers Cape Kayak Adventures and Fly Cape Town jumped on board, and then Dan Shout offered to rearrange his schedule, we knew we were onto a winner.
