Legend has it, if you say the words “Rooftop Bar” three times into your reflection in a cocktail shaker, half of Cape Town will suddenly appear behind you, demanding service.
Brendon Roux will be one of them, Cosmopolitan in hand. Join him as he shares more stories that may or my not be true at Gigi Rooftop bar.

Despite a temporary (okay, 3 year) lapse in better judgement, recovered vegan and cocktail queen Brendon Roux offers a tour of Iron Steak, Bree Street’s best steak restaurant and bar.
Overly willing to share an anecdote or two and some life advice, lunchtime is all laughs with Brendon.
Iron Steak is a 1920’s-inspired bar serving classy steaks and classic cocktails. Meals start with popcorn cooked with wagyu beef dripping and end with sea-salted caramel ice cream rolled in Valrhona dark chocolate shavings.

Questionably clued-up about clay and always ready to critique Cape Town’s wannabe creatives, Brendon Roux shows us the best way to enjoy Clay Cafe in the City: with a delicious cocktail in hand. Clay has never looked this camp.
Clay Cafe in the City is a craft focused space that strives to teach like-minded adults to be creative, learn new techniques and just have some fun while enjoying great tapas, winter-warmer meals and relaxing music.

Brendon Roux can’t tell the difference between a Mondrian and a Monet, and all he knows about Warhol is that he threw elaborate parties in the 70s. But he can talk the hind leg off an art snob Constantia mom.
Since shooting this video, The Fourth & Billy Bar have both closed. Brendon maintains his innocence.

Brendon Roux loves to let his inner Parisienne princess shine, and where better to do so than Societi Bistro? Needless to say, this French-inspired restaurant and bar in Cape Town has seen a lot of him. Join him for a tour and a few stories. And ignore the fact that he can’t speak a word of French.
NB Societi Bistro has now closed.
